The Ones Who Make Life Better
Our pets aren’t just animals — they’re family. They’re the ones who greet us at the door, sit with us through hard days, and love us without conditions. Your portraits should feel like them.
At Tay Portraits, we create pet sessions that are relaxed, joyful, and full of personality. Whether it’s your dog, cat, horse, or the whole furry crew, we focus on real moments and the special bond you share — no stiff poses or stressed-out animals.
We know how important your pets are, and we treat every session with the same care and patience we’d want for our own.
Why Pet Parents Love Our Sessions
- Low-Stress for Everyone — We work at your pet’s pace. If they need breaks, extra time to warm up, or a more low-key approach, we adapt. The goal is a comfortable experience for both you and your animal.
- Personality Over Posing — We capture the little things that make your pet them — the head tilt, the goofy zoomies, the way they look at you. These are the moments that feel the most like home.
- Neurodivergent-Friendly — Many of our clients (and their pets) are neurodivergent. We keep sessions calm, predictable, and flexible with clear communication the whole time.
- In-Home or Outdoor — We’re happy to come to you for a relaxed, familiar environment or meet at a favorite park or trail. Whatever helps your pet feel most at ease.
- Heirloom Quality — These aren’t just photos for your phone. We offer beautiful prints and custom albums so you can keep your best friend close for years to come.
What to Expect
We keep things gentle and flexible from start to finish.
Before the Session
We’ll chat about your pet’s personality, any quirks or sensitivities, and what kind of photos you’re hoping for. This helps us plan a session that feels good for everyone involved.
During the Session
We move slowly and patiently. Sessions are usually 45–75 minutes, depending on your pet. We use treats, toys, and lots of breaks as needed. Many pets do best with short bursts of photos mixed with time to just be themselves. We’re happy to include you, your family, or just focus on your pet — whatever feels right.
After the Session
You’ll receive a gallery of images that feel like your pet. From there, we can help you choose digital files, fine art prints, or a custom album to celebrate the family member who happens to have fur or hooves
